Manningtree

By Tudor times Manningtree had become a thriving port known as Manytre with much of the wealth of the town in those days coming from the cloth trade.
For two centuries, Manningtree and Mistley were important brewing centres and ports and the brewing industry continues there today, as does the port activity.
